Weekly Vocabulary Story

My vocabulary words this week are:
abode, abate, accentuate, abolish, abolitionist, and abominable

My Mom gave me the assignment to write a short 6-15 sentence story using my words.  So here it is.  See if you can find them!

I love books!  They are my life.  I like to keep thousands of books all over our abode.   Some are accentuated by beautiful covers that look good, but are really abominable stories.  I learned that the hard way.  I really wish that they would abate the cost of hard covered books.  I can't tell you how many times I had to turn down a book because it was too expensive.  Books help me learn more, like how we abolished slavery and why Abraham Lincoln was an abolitionist.  There are many other reasons why I love books, but I already wrote enough sentences to complete this assignment . . . so, I'm done!

Signing Off,
Evalynn and Mom
